So, ladies and gentlemen, this is where the hard work pays off. With Viastak’s growth officially recognised in The Sunday Times’ Tech Track 100 list for 2016, it gave us huge pleasure to attend the awards ceremony in London on Wednesday this week.
The Sunday Times’ Tech Track 100 register is a highly prestigious annual publication. The register dedicates itself to private technology firms, denoting those with the highest cumulative sales growth rates across the three years leading up to the award. Leading researcher and events organiser FastTrack compile the list. Viastak first became aware of our nomination for this ranking in July 2016. Subsequently, we received a visit from award representatives to explain our company and our progress over our relatively short existence. Two months later, Viastak were able to announce our official confirmation of a place on the register. This featured in the Business supplement of The Sunday Times on 11th September.
The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 16th November, at the glamorous 8 Northumberland Avenue venue in Westminster, central London. There were numerous speakers leading the event, including FanDuel co-founder Rob Jones and ARM Holdings COO Graham Budd. Viastak CEO Simon Osman was in attendance to receive our trophy, together with investor and board member Stefan Turnbull. It now sits proudly in our Newman Street premises, alongside past plaques from the likes of Deloitte, Recruiter and AMX.
We would also like to take this opportunity to warmly congratulate the other winners.
Thanks Go To…
Our sales rate was the key criterion that qualified us for this brilliant award. It therefore stands to reason that we offer sincerest thanks to our sales and marketing staff. Led expertly by sales director Campbell Burns and business development director Chris Coupe, they have created a superb client base. With particular success in the recruitment, law and co-working sectors, Viastak has flourished under their stewardship.
Yet this award is not only a reflection of their achievements, but of the whole company. Everyone: our engineers; our financiers; our project directors; our solutions architects; our long-term service technicians – all deserve ample credit. We do not tie our clients into multi-year contracts here; we rely solely on creating a good service that our clients trust, in order to retain them. That requires a special culture of expertise, diligence and enthusiasm, and that is what our people have created. They are the reason that the likes of co-working giant WeWork have repeatedly come back to us for technical services. We have grown our team extensively in the last few years, and are grateful for the consistent commitment of the people we have assembled.
CEO Simon beamed that “this is a huge achievement. It is a leap forward for us in terms of credibility, to be associated with the huge companies on the Tech Track 100. I am very proud and everyone at Viastak should feel great pride too in what we have accomplished.”
That’s all from us, in what has been a thoroughly celebratory week. Join us next Friday for Stakker Stories!
